It was possible to drive through the Wildlife Safari park. We drove our own vehicle through the 600 acre park which took approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete. In fact, we were allowed to go through twice (the same day) on our gate admission. We paid for our entrance fee (which varied from $8.99 to $17.99 depending on the age group and the time of the year) and entered the park at the Entrance Booth. Groups of 15 or more were helped with separate Group Rates. We were given a map of the park to enhance our experience and help identify animals. Pet animals were not permitted during the Drive-Thru. Instead, kennels were available daily during park hours. Guests could rent a padlock at Guest Services or the Main Entrance for $5.00 and there was a drop box at the entrance of the kennels to deposit the lock when they left.
The park hours were 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during October1st to May 22nd and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during May 23rd to October 1st.
